IT‘S A BRUTAL, COMIC BOOK TRAP
My close relation to
music has always drawn my social circle revolving among people with the similar
interest and a whole lot of interesting stories. Every individual with whom I
get the chance to have a more meaningful conversation inspires me with their
creativity and heart exactly where mine is. Many young enthusiasts learn about
music production on their own and the results they give us is pretty damn
awesome. That is why I have gotten the chance to introduce you to the new
artist duo, which decided to keep their identity private - they call themselves
LANG. They represent the heavy part of electronic bass music, a genre that
keeps growing in its popularity and has developed out of basic hip hop. You
have probably guessed it!
«It’s a TRAP»
To few of you LANG may
sound quite odd, but the two say that it doesn’t really mean anything. Although,
the name originates from the comic book vigilante Ant-Man (Scott Lang) and no
one knows much of anything about Ant-Man. The name can also be the source for
their desire to hide their identity. When I asked them why do they prefer not
to tell who the real members of LANG really are their response was that, their
project goal is not to bring attention to one person or a group but to inspire
and bring together everyone based on our love for music.
The duo is for now
mainly focused on trap music but is not limited by it and besides their hidden
identity, their powerful unique sound and most amazing energetic life sets
definitely separate them from other trap artist. «Our sounds are something you haven't heard before and the live sets
are energetic and brutal!».
With only two tracks
released they are one of the most promising Slovenian up-and-coming artists.
Their long - term goal is not only to play in major clubs and festivals but
also to make music people will enjoy along the way! With every track released
their success is growing every day and they are being booked from all parts of
Slovenia and with that I have no doubt that with their enthusiasm they will be
booked abroad soon! Either way you can follow them on Facebook where you can
find dates of their upcoming gigs. If that doesn’t work out for you, you can
check them out on Soundcloud (1, 2) where you will find their banging new tracks.
Last but not least
they are open to listening to your own music (remixes, bootlegs and original
mixes), which you can send to langpromos@gmail.com.
