Cruising the city, where is no joke, when it's time to smoke. We all know there is nothing better than a nostalgic feeling of waking up in a cosy bed, and the smell of a hot cup of coffee gently tickles every single one of our scents. Or in my case, the powerful and dominant smell of pot, greeting you for the first time, when you finally land in European Sin City.

My inner debate of which train to take to the hotel, was quickly surpassed when an UK bloke offered me a smoke. A smoke, that could quite literally give you a stroke. It concluded close to forty types of weed, that he bought before realizing it wasn't possible to take them back to his home town. We politely chatted, while passing around the golden ticket to Wonderland. His heavy British accent all of the sudden became understandable. And my tired facial features slowly started to dance.

After a while there was no question which train to take, instead I chose a safe, non environmental friendly Taxi. My mind slowly separated from my body as I was swallowing the buildings with my

eyes. Now, I´m not gonna exaggerate, I have seen more beautiful things, but I have never felt like they were connected to my inner depth of me.

It´s like they were perfectly placed to catch the spark in my eyes and paint a smile on my face. Quite honestly the only thing I remember next is lying in my hotel bed and closing my eyes filled with happiness.

And so the journey begins...

Definitely my favorite trip in 2015. Anej and I visited this beautiful city in November for the first time actually, therefore our expectations were really high and I must tell you that my expectations were definitely exceeded and more.

Amsterdam is the best European city I have visited so far and trust me when I tell you that I have visited plenty Eropean cities and capitals. Why did I like it so much? Because Amsterdam is a very clean, interesting city, full of great people, it offers many different activities to do while staying there, the food is great, marijuana is legal and so are a lot of other drugs, the buildings are not higher than four floors in the city centre which gives you a chance to see the full skyline. The museums are simply fantastic especially the Museum of Modern Art. Don't get me started on shopping in Amsterdam which is also super amazing. ZARA, just to mention one, is so much bigger than here in Slovenia and it offers clothes we won't be able to ever get here!

My favorite places were: the Stedelijk Museum, Prix D'Ami Coffeeshop, little concept stores, Marqt chaine store, our hotel, Coffee & Coconuts and the airport itself. I would say that a good time to go to Amsterdam is during Gay pride or for Kingsday in April every year, which we are planning to go to.

What I also really appreciated was the transport, which is really well organized; that LIDL stores are cheaper than here in Slovenia. Let's not forget about the cyclists. They're everywhere!
